Billing & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how Dubai Fitness & Wellness Business Group (DFWBG) memberships are billed, how automatic renewal works, and how to cancel. It sits alongside our Membership Terms & Conditions.

1- What you are paying for

DFWBG membership is an annual subscription to a professional membership body. Four plans are available: Sector Representative (AED 750 per year), Bronze — Recognised Member (AED 1,500 per year), Silver — Established Member (AED 3,500 per year) and Gold — Industry Leader (AED 5,000 per year). Each plan runs for 12 months and entitles the named representatives to member rates at DFWBG events, sector communications, and the additional benefits published on the Become a Member page. 2- Billing declaration — recurring payments

By completing a membership payment on this website you agree to a Continuous Authority (recurring payment) arrangement, and you authorise DFWBG to store your payment method securely with our payment provider, Telr, and to charge it automatically as follows:

Billing interval: annually — once every 12 months.
First payment: taken on the day your membership application payment is submitted and approved.
Recurring payments: the same fee is charged automatically on the same calendar date each following year, for as long as your membership remains active and has not been cancelled.
Amount: the published fee for the plan you selected, at the rate applicable on the renewal date.
Currency: UAE Dirhams (AED).
Advance notice: an automated renewal reminder is emailed to your registered address before each renewal date.
Price changes: if membership fees change, you will be notified before the new fee is charged, and you may cancel before that date.
Receipts: a payment receipt is emailed automatically after each successful charge.
Failed payments: if a renewal payment is declined, you will be notified and asked to update your payment details. Membership benefits may be suspended until the outstanding payment is received.
Card security: your card details are held by Telr under its own security standards and are not stored on DFWBG systems.

You may withdraw this authority at any time by cancelling your membership under section 3 below.

3- Cancellation policy

You may cancel your membership and stop automatic renewal at any time before your next renewal date. There is no minimum notice period and no cancellation fee.

How to cancel — use either method:

Log in to Member Access on this website and cancel automatic renewal on your membership page; or
Email info@dfwbusinessgroup.org from your registered email address with the subject line “Membership Cancellation”, stating your name, company and membership number.

Cut-off date: a cancellation request received at any time up to 23:59 (GST, UTC+4) on the day before your renewal date will stop the next payment. A request received on or after your renewal date cannot stop that year’s payment, which will already have been taken; the cancellation will instead end the membership at the following renewal date.

Confirmation: we confirm every cancellation by email within 2 business days. If you have not received confirmation before your renewal date, contact info@dfwbusinessgroup.org immediately.

After you cancel: no further payments will be taken. Your membership and its benefits remain active until the end of the 12-month term you have already paid for, after which the membership lapses.

4- Refunds

Membership fees are non-refundable once paid, except where a refund is required by applicable UAE law or granted at the sole discretion of DFWBG in exceptional circumstances. If a payment is taken in error or charged twice, contact info@dfwbusinessgroup.org within 14 days and the amount will be refunded to the original card.
